Curriculum

The Family Medicine Residency curriculum will prepare residents to work in complex healthcare teams. During the three years of residency training, our residents will become highly skilled at all facets of Family Medicine.

The inpatient care experiences within The Valley Health System offer our residents a collaborative and expansive opportunity to enrich their knowledge and skill set. This network of hospitals will enable residents to train in an integrated system of care with a broad scope of specialties and experiences.

A comprehensive simulation curriculum will allow residents to train in a consequence-free environment, enabling them to develop procedural skills for application in daily practice. Residents will also have the opportunity to participate in scholarly activity and develop leadership skills.
