Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy at The Valley Health System addresses injuries as well as conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Treatment often begins within days of an injury or surgery. It continues until the patient is able to return to work and a productive lifestyle.

Physical Therapy

Our outpatient rehab centers provide evaluative, preventive and rehabilitative services to those with physical functioning problems. Our staff provides patients with comprehensive evaluations, one-on-one education and functional training.

Speech Therapy

Speech Language Pathology is the assessment and treatment of communication problems and speech disorders. Speech therapy techniques can help improve communication for individuals with language or speech disorders. These disorders may have developed in childhood or after injury or illness. This includes a stroke or brain injury.

Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurological rehabilitation is for people with illnesses, injuries or disorders of the nervous system, such as stroke, infections or brain trauma. Neuro rehab helps improve function, reduce symptoms and improve well-being through a variety of therapies. These therapies often include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology and more. Together, these therapies promote recovery, independence and safety.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Services

This medically supervised program is designed to help improve your heart's health and endurance, and your confidence in your heart. It is recommended for people experiencing or diagnosed with congestive heart failure or stable angina. It is also for people who have had percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), or valve replacement. 

Pulmonary Rehab Services

This medically supervised program is designed to help improve breathing, shortness of breath, functional endurance, and activities of daily living. It is recommended for people experiencing or diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, bronchitis, pneumonia, sleep apnea, asthma or any other related pulmonary restriction.
