Wound Care Services

Wound CareMost wounds heal on their own with just a bandage and a little patience. But sometimes, wounds just don't heal as they should and require specialized and aggressive medical treatment. Non-healing wounds can be caused by a wide variety of medical conditions.

Physicians and nurses of the Wound Care programs specialize in treating non-healing wounds using advanced treatment methods and technology.

But much of the success of your treatment depends on you. We'll count on you to follow directions carefully and watch your progress closely. You'll learn about caring for your wound at home including how to change dressings and how to protect yourself from further injuries.

Many wounds that can be treated by our staff includes:

  • Pressure sores, stages 1, 2, 3 and 4
  • Ulcers — neuropathic and others
  • Surgical incisions
  • Burns
  • Venous stasis wounds
  • Ischemic wounds

Our wound care centers offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to treat non-healing wounds. HBOT is a procedure in which a patient breaths 100 percent oxygen while relaxing in a pressurized chamber. This delivers high concentrations of oxygen to the blood stream and the wound bed, which rapidly accelerates the healing process.

The center offers outpatient wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatment for difficult wounds, especially those associated with diabetes.
The center is located in a quiet, suburban setting, far from the noise and congestion of central Las Vegas and offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Our healing rates are impressive: Our proven techniques and technologies have healed 90 percent of patients within 16 weeks.
