Excessive snoring, uncontrolled leg and body movement, sitting up or walking in your sleep...there can be any number of indications that you have a sleep disorder. And you might not even be aware because you're sleeping. Sort of.
If, after a reasonable number of hours' sleep, you're consistently tired, drowsy, having difficulty staying focused at work or while driving, you might have a sleep disorder. And some conditions, such as sleep apnea (where you stop breathing momentarily but repeatedly) can be dangerous — leading to heart attack or stroke.
Diagnosis can be as simple as a night's sleep at one of our sleep centers.
Treatments can range from airflow devices to medications.
