Sleep Centers
Excessive snoring, uncontrolled leg and body movement, sitting up or walking in your sleep...there can be any number of indications that you have a sleep disorder. And you might not even be aware because you're sleeping. Sort of.
If, after a reasonable number of hours' sleep, you're consistently tired, drowsy, having difficulty staying focused at work or while driving, you might have a sleep disorder. And some conditions, such as sleep apnea (where you stop breathing momentarily but repeatedly) can be dangerous — leading to heart attack or stroke.
Diagnosis can be as simple as a night's sleep at one of our sleep centers.
Treatments can range from airflow devices to medications.
The staff at the Sleep Center at Desert Springs Hospital is made up of experienced technologists and clinicians who are specially trained in sleep diagnostic testing.
Each sleep room is painted in warm hues that are conducive to sleep, and feature a comfortable queen-sized bed and television.
Services include sleep evaluation and consultation, comprehensive polysomnography, oxygen level monitoring and education and instruction.
